The plot of this drama is about soon-to-be 30 year old Go Sa-ri (Yoon So-Hee) who is now saying goodbye to her 20’s. In the drama she meets 4 different men, one of whom is her ex husband, and the other three being her best friend, her boss and a younger guy. All of them have some kind of feelings towards her and are trying to win her heart in one way or another.

Peng is a Korean Drama that aired from October 7th 2021 to November 5th 2021 and starred actress Yoon So-Hee as the main character Go Sa-ri. The drama was written by Han Soo-Ji and directed by Baek Min-Hee.

So to begin with this drama was more like a web drama, the series were 10 episodes and 20-25 minutes each. Therefore there is not a lot for me to say about this drama. Personally I found the drama underwhelming to say the least, i don’t really find this drama watch worthy even though there were a few funny scenes. Most of them were forgetful though. I do remember most of the scenes involving the younger guy and a few of the scenes of her friends, but the rest is pretty forgetful I would say. Except for those few scenes I liked there was not much to say about it. Yoon So-Hee’s acting was good for the character whoever the plot I did not like. It felt rushed, and I think that if this was a whole drama it might have been better. In that case I would want to change the ending too. There was so much build up to who she would end up with only to be disappointed in the end. It’s like you were left unread.

With that being said I think we all understand that I didn't like it.

Some of the actors who did a good job with their characters were Choi Won-Myung who played Pi Jung-Won, the best friend of Go Sa-ri and Bang Eun-Jung who played Doo Ru-Mi, who also played one of Go Sa-ri’s best friends. I think Doo Ru-mi was my favorite character in this drama. She did this character perfectly and I look forward to seeing her in her future dramas, hopefully one day as a main character in a long 16 episode 1 hour drama.

But when looking at this drama when rating it i can’t just look at the plot, i have to look at the acting too. And the acting is what made the drama a two star for me. I did look up the screenwriter for this drama and saw that she was a director for “A-TEEN” a well known web drama, which if I remember correctly I very much enjoyed. So I hope that director and screenwriter Han Soo-ji’s future work will be just as good as that one.
